Running out of things?

Hey Everybody,
I have been wondering if it is just me or what? But it seems that almost everyday someone here says "We are out of _____" or "We need some more ____". I guess I was so used to stopping by the store when I was already at town and picking up things that I knew we were low on, it has finally started to show. Now, in an extreme effort to save GAS, I limit myself to going to town once (maybe twice) a week. My list just gets longer and longer. I take Brianna to the bus stop every morning (I'm still getting up at 5:30 everyday). Then I stay here and "do things" like paint, clean out cabinets, or stuff that you just don't have time do when you are working.

What are you guys up to? The ones of you that were lucky and found work, how's everything going?

Later, Cindy

Hi Cindy,

I've been busy and sorry to say have not checked in on the blog for a while.

My new job is finally making sense. It took a while to figure out the work flow for just one of jobs that I need to learn, and there are quite a few more that I need to master.

With the price of gas I can understand why you are limiting your trips to town. I try to group my shopping with other trips. I have my gas estimated into my week and should be OK up to $4 a gal. Which some people are saying we will hit this year.

It takes me 10 gal a week to go to work, not to bad yet. If things keep getting worse I will probably by a really gas efficient car at the end of the year.

Yesterday I attended a Photoshop seminar and learned a few things. I also joined a Photoshop group that meets once a month so that should keep me up to date on retouching techniques. My new job has not had much photoshop work yet . . . but maybe in the future.

Anyone else out there?
